The Animal Wellness Group are registered charities, composed of Animal Wellness Action (AWA), Animal Wellness Action Political Action Committee and the Center for a Humane Economy (CHE). The Group is committed to preventing cruelty to all animals, by promoting good public policies, enforcing those policies, and conducting campaigns at the legislative, corporate, and consumer levels.
Digital Communications Manager
The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for driving our online communications strategies, including the content and design of our outbound digital communications, segmentation of the list based on issue affinity, list acquisition, and retention. The key goals for the digital program are advocacy action-takers and fundraising.
Oklahoma State Director
The Oklahoma State Director (SD) for the Center for a Humane Economy (CHE) and Animal Wellness Action (AWA) helps animals by extending the reach of the organizations’ branding, programs, and priorities into key states. The SD will work on a wide range of issues, in cooperation with the leadership of the Kirkpatrick Foundation and other key partners in the state and drive a statewide animal welfare agenda.
Vermont State Director
The Vermont State Director operates as a generalist for the Center for a Humane Economy and Animal Wellness Action, working to advance our organizational goals for Vermont by utilizing a wide range of strategies, across an array of animal welfare issues, and with people having diverse political views, backgrounds, and beliefs.
Volunteer State Directors
State Directors help animals by extending the reach of the organization’s branding, programs, and priorities into key states. State directors are generalists who works to advance our organizational goals through a wide range of strategies, across a wide range of animal issues, and with a wide range of people who have diverse political views, backgrounds, and beliefs. Position is volunteer with a possibility that some states’ directors will move into paid positions.
